Möt Berson-familjen. Stolta föräldrar till fyra pojkar, Bill och hans fru är inga främlingar till det vilda, röriga och underbara livet som kommer med att uppfostra barn. Det är ingen överraskning att efter att ha flyttat till Virginia blev det en prioritet för familjen att skapa ett utrymme med lågt underhåll utomhus. däck: Varför Trex?

Efter år av betsning och underhåll av ett terrass i sitt tidigare hem var Berson-familjen redo för en förändring. Med sitt nya hem under uppbyggnad var det det perfekta tillfället att uppgradera sitt utomhusutrymme till komposit. Trex® var det första varumärket de övervägde när de började designa sitt drömutrymme utomhus.

”Nedre linjen, jag kom hit för att arbeta för Trex ; men i verkligheten skulle jag ha valt Trex-däck på något sätt”, delar Bill. För Berson-familjen handlade deras däck om färg.

Vår vision för vår uteplats är något som känns som att vi är på semester hela tiden.

Väljer den saltgrå nyansen av Foggy Wharf-däck, gjorde de just det. "Det [Trex Enhance®-däck i Foggy Wharf] ger dig känslan av ett fritidshus vilket är vad vi ville att utrymmet skulle känna sig som", sa Bill.

Med semesterkänslan visste Bersons att de behövde en lösning med lågt underhåll som skulle tillåta dem att spendera tid på att njuta av sitt utomhusutrymme, inte underhålla det.

Framtiden: Fler minnen i skapandet

Medan ett terrass sätter scenen för utomhusliv, bleknar en väldesignad i bakgrunden och låter dina minnen ta centrum. Vi bad Bill och Finn att dela några av sina favoritminnen på deras terrass hittills. 

För Bill sticker minnet av hans två äldsta söners första besök i det nya familjehemmet ut bland resten. Efter att ha kommit in i hemmet från terrass för att lägga till överraskningsfaktorn för deras besök, bosatte sig hela familjen i utomhusutrymmet för en kväll fylld med god mat, skratt och samhörighet. 

Move-in day är det som Finn tyckte var mest minnesvärt. Efter en lång dag av uppackningslådor samlades familjen i utomhusutrymmet för att varva ner och koppla av omgiven av naturen och deras hundar. 

Vad händer härnäst för Berson-familjen? "Vi har en hel del ytterligare renoveringar planerade," Bill aktier. För utomhusutrymmet finns ett nytt förvaringsutrymme under terrass och en terrass runt eldstaden i arbetena. När det gäller att använda utomhusutrymmet är BBQ med familj och vänner, morgonkaffepauser och middagar under stjärnorna definitivt i planerna.
